US to face shortage of Doctors

According to the Wall Street Journal, the US is going to face a shortage of doctors in the coming years, most likely due to the fact that there will be tons of more insured people in the US.

Some predict that there could be a shortage of up to 150,000 doctors in the next 15 years.  The article doesn’t really address this, but the new healthcare "reform" is certainly not helping the situation.   I’ve yet to find a person who likes the new healthcare reform bill.

Add a few extra thousand to that list...considering, some doctors are going to up and quit, seeing as they won't be able to properly treat patients, they'll get paid less because they also can't operate private practices successfully...There's so many free options for healthcare right now for children but if you're a "neglective" parent, you're still not going to take your kid to the doctor, whether they have access to healthcare or not. And actually, I can't wait for people to get hit with a huge fine when they don't pay for their "free" healthcare. haha ok I'm done...this whole thing just makes me crazy though.
